Great point about the score not interjecting. So many romcoms ruin emotional beats by having the music try to do all the heavy lifting instead of trusting the actors. Sounds like this one lets the performances breathe. Also Roumie playing against type is intresting, usually hes so wholesome in everything I've seen him in.
You're exactly right. On one point, I wouldn't say Roumie isn't "Wholesome," but he usually plays a guy who has everything together. This time, he plays a messy individual, and he does so well.
