Jinwoo returns for the tenth volume of Solo Leveling, a manhwa written by Korean author Chugong and illustrated by Redice Studio aka the late great Dubu.
From the description,
Saving Japan from total destruction at the hands of the King of Giants earns Jinwoo and Ahjin Guild world-wide recognition and a spot at the International Guild Conference. But heading to America means crossing paths with Dongsoo Hwang, who has a bone to pick with Jinwoo about the death of his brother―and isn’t above using Jinho as bait!
Of course, the artwork is fantastic. There is an epic vibe to it, especially this incredible sequence where Jinwoo encounters a dragon. I would be remiss if I did not mention the action sequences. Every battle and fight is drawn with perfection. I applaud the artwork and illustrations. They are next level.
It was nice to see Jinwoo show some humanity. Ever since the system overtook him, he is slowly losing touch with his soul, but after a dear friend is captured, it awakens. Sure, he is still a bit cold, but he wants to stop whoever harms his loved ones. This portion of the story definitely had my attention and I thought it was fantastic.
The story arc and the artwork combined make this such an excellent series. Every time I think the plot has hit a snag, the stakes get raised. It truly leaves me wanting more as each volume ends.
