No Batman movie could be complete without a musical soundtrack that will resonate with the audience. From Hans Zimmer to Danny Elfman, there have been so many amazing scores that helped tell the story of Bruce Wayne’s war on crime.
Here is my Ranking Of The Batman Theatrical Soundtracks And Scores:
12. Batman & Robin
Relying heavily on pop music, it features The Smashing Pumpkins’ “The End Is the Beginning Is the End” which won the 1998 Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance.
11. Batman Forever
Seals’ single “Kiss from a Rose” won three Grammy Awards for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, Record of the Year and Song of the Year in 1996. The rest of the soundtrack used pop music and techno for a score.
10. The Lego Batman Movie
This soundtrack is built more for fun, using a humorous mix of rock and pop songs, as well as R&B beats to help build the story.
09. The Batman
Michael Giacchino touched on the grimness of Gotham City, bringing each song to an epic crescendo.
08. Batman the Movie (1966)
A product of the sixties, the song has a snappy quality to it and helps beings in the sound effects for the epic “POW” when Batman would throw a punch at the bad guys.
07. Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice
Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL tell the story of the World’s Finest squaring off with a background score that resonates.
