Originally named Skyfire, this Autobot was introduced as a scientist and friend to the Decepticon Seeker Starscream. In other versions, he was a vice commander and would stand by Optimus Prime and his fellow Autobots.

10. Generation 2

This version returned him to the gentle giant scientist who frequently worked with Wheeljack and Perceptor.

09. Marvel Comics

08. Unicron Trilogy Finale

Jetfire was one of the few characters to last through all three television shows based on the Unicron Trilogy, including Cybertron.

07. Energon

In the second entry into the Unicron Trilogy, Jetfire sported a new look and would combine with Ironhide to allow the young Autobot to fly.
