Written by Katie Yeager and Lexi Walker, “Teach Me” is a lovely ballad that discusses unrequited love. This is the first song that I listened from Lexi Walker and I found it enjoyable.
The song has a ballad feel to it, giving it a soft tone that compliments the lyrics perfectly. Lexi’s voice is impactful and graceful. She sings with from her soul and makes it an excellent song to listen to. Likewise, the music video goes perfectly with the song. It is simple and adds to the overall loveliness that is captured.
She describes the song herself,
“Hey everyone! I’m not a melancholy soul, I promise, but here’s another song about unrequited looove. 😉”Teach Me” was written at about the same time as “Blind Boy.” The idea came when I was sitting in my room, thinking everyone else seems to have a handle on this whole love thing a lot better than I do! I opened my journal and wrote the line, ‘If anyone knows how to fix a broken heart, then TEACH ME,’ and it took off from there. I hope you enjoy it! 😊”
