Kaya Jones and Bryson Gray perform the song “Yeshua,” a single that is part of her 2025 album The Royal Collection. The song was written by Alessandro Vilas Boas.
Both Jones and Gray have excellent voices that blend well together for this song. It is a wonderful number that honors our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, describing the love the singers feel for Him. I found it to be honoring and a true dedication to God with the lyrics.
I also want to give kudos to the arrangement. The song has a fantastic sound to it, both instrumentally and creatively. I found that it matched the vibe of the song, bringing out the admiration within its lyrics.
If this is a teaser for this album, it is a good one. I cannot wait to listen to the new release in its entirety.
Check out the music video below:
“Sing to the Lord! Lift up your voice right now! Amen,” Kaya wrote on social media, celebrating the release. “Hallelujah! Lord we thank you for everything! We bathe in your presence Adonai for Kadosh Kadosh Kadosh are you and worthy to be praised!”
The song makes reference to two Bible verses.
John 14:23-23 (CSB),
“23 Jesus answered, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 The one who doesn’t love me will not keep my words. The word that you hear is not mine but is from the Father who sent me.”
Psalm 96:1-2 (CSB),
“1 Sing a new song to the Lord; let the whole earth sing to the Lord. 2 Sing to the Lord, bless his name; proclaim his salvation from day to day.”
