Former Bush Administration Press Secretary and Fox News anchor Dana Perino released her book ‘Everything Will Be Okay: Life Lessons for Young Women (from a Former Young Woman).’
According to its synopsis, the book “is a no-nonsense how-to guide to life for young women looking to reframe their thinking, to believe in themselves, to take risks, to understand their power, and to feel better overall through finding serenity and taking action.” It continues, “Through her mentorship program, “Minute Mentoring,” Dana quickly realized that quarter-life crises have begun following young women well into their thirties. Many of them are distressed but conceal it with a brave face. Unfortunately, too much of that can be—and is—exhausting.”
Having met and interacted with Dana Perino, this book is exactly what I expected. It is smart, thoughtful, and offers some grounded advice on how to manage your hectic life. Interspersed with some funny stories about her life, Perino does not hold back on offering her wisdom. It is easy to follow, understand, and you will be wondering why you did not read it sooner.
