Eric July And Dan Vasc: "Norfrica: Glorious Death" Music Review
From the pages of the Rippaverse.
Norfica is a fictional heavy metal band that was introduced into the Rippaverse, with them getting their own comic book spin-off. To celebrate the release, Eric July teamed up with singer Dan Vasc to produce the single “Glorious Death.”
This song is fire. It reminded me a lot of European heavy metal bands like Sabaton with its guitar intro and banging drums. Not to mention, Vasc and July perform the duet in a near-perfect manner, bringing this fictional band to reality. I am probably not the first to think of this, but it would make an excellent workout song.
You will not want to miss this epic sound. Even if you are not a comic book fan, I think you will be jamming to this song. Definitely download it to your playlist if you are a rock enthusiast like me.
The song has debuted on several charts, including iTunes and Amazon. July promised that if the comic book campaign makes 300K or if it charts on Billboard, they will do a Norfica EP. Let’s get them there!
By the way, the live action music video, which features July and Vasc singing interspersed with scenes from the comics’ trailer, is well done. However, the real treat is the animated music video where we see Norfica performing in Florespark, the fictional city within the Rippaverse.
You can watch the music video below:
“The Norfrica: 'Glorious Death' single by Eric July and Dan Vasc is charting at #1 on iTunes! Shout-out to all the fans who are rocking with us! Help us chart on Billboard with the digital download,” Rippavere wrote on social media.
